Safari- A web browser developed by Apple Computers and is used by both Windows and Macintosh computers.


Search engine- Online database that is used to search for information on the web. Search engines enable users to view for specific material available of a web site or web page.


Search engine optimization- Practicing techniques for a website which enable the spiders to crawl a web site easily to receive high visibility and traffic on the web.


Server- It is a machine or computer that provides services to other computer programs and their users.


Spam- A method of tricking the search engine to give a website a higher ranking by stuffing large amounts of the same information into the search engine.


Spiders- A program built that searches web sites and web pages on the world wide web searching for relevant and irrelevant material.


Static page- They are web pages that look the same and are not customized based on the visitors computer settings.


Stop words- They are common words on a web site or keywords entered in a search engine that the search engines do not record, such as: in, or, and, etc..
